The UHF TV frequency band in Germany is occupied by wireless applications for culture and event technology as well as terrestrial television transmission. This is the result of current evaluations by Dipl. Ing. Ing. Ing. Matthias Fehr, freelance HF technology consultant, IKHF. He has carried out mobile frequency monitoring with small antennas in Germany, covering around 5000 km. With the now available data, recurring questions about frequency occupancy can be answered. A typical question, from the point of view of wireless microphones: Which TV channels are available for us to use locally? In addition, in border regions: Are TV channels from neighboring countries broadcasting?
