\n“What measures is the Federal Government taking to permanently secure the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) band for culture and broadcasting, as promised in the coalition agreement between the SPD, Alliance 90\/The Greens and FDP, and what is the Federal Government’s position at European level regarding the permanent use of cultural frequencies for the cultural sector?”<\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong>
\n“The Federal Government has implemented the plan mentioned in the coalition agreement to permanently secure the UHF band for culture and broadcasting through its involvement in Decisions (EU) 2017\/899 and the resolutions of the World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 (WRC-23).<\/p>\n

In the discussions to date, the Federal Government has always been committed to a clear guarantee of continued existence and development prospects for broadcasting and event technology in the UHF band and will continue to do so.”<\/p>\n
