Since Phil Collins no longer tours, or is unable to, his best cover band is the perfect substitute: \u2018Phil it!\u2019 from Germany. The group brings every venue to absolute enthusiasm, or, as lead vocalist Sascha Spitz says during the show: \u2018Escalate!\u2019 And suddenly people are standing close to the stage, dancing, singing along, laughing, a connection is created between them, something called sympathetic intelligence.<\/p>\n

\u2018Phil it\u2019 has it all \u2013 rock songs and slow ballads, \u2018I Wish It Would Rain Down\u2019 as well as \u2018Jesus He Knows Me\u2019. Before the start of \u2018In the Air Tonight\u2019, Sascha Spitz leaves the stage and comes back on from behind, just like in Collins’ original video. A beautiful, fitting tribute to the great British singer. For \u2018Phil it\u2019, their performance means recognition, appreciation and humility towards an exceptional artist and his musical legacy. For the audience, it means a unique evening.<\/p>\n
