{"id":13411,"date":"2026-09-03T16:16:31","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T14:16:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sos-save-our-spectrum.org\/naba-enters-strategic-partnership-with-apwpt\/"},"modified":"2026-09-03T16:16:31","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T14:16:31","slug":"naba-enters-strategic-partnership-with-apwpt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sos-save-our-spectrum.org\/en\/naba-enters-strategic-partnership-with-apwpt\/","title":{"rendered":"NABA Enters Strategic Partnership with APWPT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_wp-block-paragraph\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The\u00a0<strong>North American Broadcasters Association (NABA)<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Association of Professional Wireless Production Technologies (APWPT)<\/strong>\u00a0announced a strategic partnership to further the interests of wireless microphones and other production equipment in North America and Europe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_wp-block-paragraph\">The common aim is to gather relevant data on the use of wireless production equipment in our industry and on how regulatory changes would impact the organization of live shows such as cultural performances and sports events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_wp-block-paragraph\">The organizations bring together broadcasters and other media production professionals, RF coordinators, users and manufacturers of wireless microphones and cameras, cultural associations, scientists and labor unions, all of whom collectively have an interest in ensuring the future of wireless event production, including the preservation of essential spectrum.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNABA and APWPT, through this strategic partnership, aim to work together to advocate for an interference-free frequencies for all types of program-making and special events (PMSE) applications, through the mutual international exchange of data and strategy planning,\u201d said Jochen Zenth\u00f6fer, Chairperson, APWPT. \u201cOur efforts will be communicated through public advocacy efforts for policy makers and regulatory bodies and other educational and public relations activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_wp-block-paragraph\">NABA Director-General, Rebecca Hanson, added, \u201cWireless production technologies are fundamental to the live broadcasting of sports, entertainment and news that viewers around the world enjoy every day.
