\"\"<\/a>The UK government is renewing Freeview licenses until 2034, allowing public service and commercial broadcasters such as ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 to continue to deliver content free-to-air to audiences.<\/p>\n

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) said it had granted Ofcom the power to carry out a renewal of all five national multiplexes on the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) platform (better known as Freeview).<\/p>\n

This means that use by wireless production equipment (PMSE) is also secured.<\/p>\n

UK is a good pioneer and a great example for the rest of Europe!<\/p>\n
