The European cultural and creative industries have been affected by the pandemic to an alarming extent. Thousands of events have to be cancelled. Organisers, distributors and artists are left with their fixed costs without any income.
The initiative “SOS – Save Our Spectrum” welcomes all efforts to support companies in the cultural and creative industries. In particular, we support the establishment of a joint emergency fund by the federal and state governments in all countries.
The fund is to be made available especially for independent cultural workers as well as private cultural institutions or cultural event companies. We hope that events will be possible again soon. Culture and music are vital. Stay healthy!
