It is now possible to:
– upload a file listing all locations related to a single request;
– send event notification via email to all registered, active users of the ANFR Frequencies Blockchain (as a complement or substitute to mailing by a registrant to closed user groups of its choice);
– see instantly the frequency plan resulting from a registration via a graph showing all adjacent frequencies allocated.
The video consists of a self-explanatory, step-by-step registration process, complete with guidelines available in both French and English: where, when, etc. As a result, the request is immediately granted, except if the frequency requested is already allocated or in case of interference issues. The registrant may cancel or transfer his registration.
In the particular case of WMAS-related allocation, the average bandwidth remains set at 200 KHZ, with a maximum of 300 KHZ. Whereas the ANFR is reluctant to recalibrate these parameters lest operators of major, multi-sites events might crowd out other registrants, they recommend that registration be made in one swoop for all the (main and adjacent) frequencies needed via the new, improved features of their Frequency Blockchain site. Furthermore, and in order to meet the needs of a fast-moving technology, they will give a hand to the registrants concerned with a view to help customize applications. By year-end, they may decide to stretch the current parameters should they deem it necessary to further smooth the frequency booking process.
